Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader/Unloader to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of materials and products, ensuring that all items are handled with care and efficiency. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers.
Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, cranes, cherry pickers, and order pickers.
Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately.
Handle materials with care to prevent damage during loading and unloading processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Assist in building pallets for storage or shipment as needed.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Experience

Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe materials handling practices.
Experience operating heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, cranes, cherry pickers, or similar machinery is a plus.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
