Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that each customer has a delightful experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and address any inquiries or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies; communicate needs to management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Uphold café standards for quality, service speed, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to follow health and safety regulations related to food handling.
