LinGate Hospitality is currently searching for a General Manager at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Nashville Opryland

The Hotel General Manager will be responsible for day to day operations of hotel. Working closely with LinGate corporate staff in the successful operation of hotel in all departments including accounting procedures and HR requirements;

The GM will lead a staff that includes AGM, Director of Sales and Executive Houskeeper. The GM will work with DOS on driving top line revenue while also working closely with corporate staff in achieving budget goals. Successful applicant will also work closely with revenue management in driving top line revenue and successful sales strategy in place.

GM will work with operations team to ensure that guest satisfaction is always priority for entire staff. Maintain training requirements to maintain brand standards. Work with hotel team to maintain QA standards at all times.

GM will work with both hotel maintenance and corporate support to ensure that asset protection is being maintained for long term success by continuous reviewing the property through walk through inspections including major equipment.

GM will work closely to meet all food and beverage standards by the brand and ownership. GM will ensure that service as well as labor and other cost standards are maintained and reviewed on and ongoing basis.

GM will work closely with corporate accounting to ensure financial reporting is accurate and reviewed daily. All deposits are recorded daily and all credit card processing is reviewed daily and any potential issues are resolved asap.

GM will work with corporate human resources to ensure all labor policy's are practiced and we meet all local, state and federal work requirements.
Job Requirements

Requirements:

Successful applicant will have previous GM experience.

GM must be able to multi task and balance priorities.

GM must understand hotel operating system reports, translate the data from the reports to other key staff and corporate office staff. Also must understand other industry reports, STR data, etc.

Marriott experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
